Popular Nigerian media personality and entrepreneur Toke Makinwa has expressed her excitement after attending and co-hosting the lavish 40th birthday celebration of Ghanaian business mogul Richard Nii Armah Quaye in Accra.
The event, held at Independence Square on March 22, brought together high-profile personalities from across Ghana and Nigeria. Toke Makinwa, alongside Ghanaian actress Joselyn Dumas, served as hosts for the night, adding to the glamour of the occasion.
Following the event, Toke took to Instagram to share her experience, praising the warm reception she received from Ghanaians. “Touched down in Accra to host #RNAQ40 last night… I thought we knew how to party in Lagos, but y’all did a thing in Accra! The warm welcome, as always, is everything! Me do wo Ghana!” she wrote.
Richard Quaye, known for his success in the business world, marked his milestone birthday in grand style, inviting an array of celebrities from different industries and countries. Nigerian film stars such as Ramsey Nouah, Rita Dominic, Mofe Damijo, and Shaffy Bello were seen mingling with the celebrant.
The star-studded event also attracted top Nigerian influencers, including Enioluwa, Latasha of Lagos, Swanky Jerry, and former BB Naija housemate Neo Akpofure. Adding to the excitement, Afrobeats superstar Davido delivered a thrilling performance, with popular socialite Cubana Chief Priest spotted by his side.
The musical lineup featured some of Ghana’s biggest names, including Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, King Promise, KiDi, Efya, and Sefa, among others. The event was also graced by prominent Ghanaian actors, media personalities, bloggers, influencers, and business figures, making it a night to remember.
