Media personality Berla Mundi has shared her thoughts on the disappointing performance of Ghana’s national football team, the Black Stars, at AFCON 2024 in Cote d’Ivoire.

The team concluded the group stage without a victory, experiencing a late setback against Mozambique’s Mambas, resulting in a 2-2 draw at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium.

Jordan Ayew’s two well-converted penalties initially placed Chris Hughton’s side in control. However, a late collapse changed the outcome. In response to the disheartening turn of events, Berla Mundi, who recently got married, expressed her sentiments on her X account. In her statement, she proposed that every team member contribute by covering utility bills and salaries for all Ghanaians for a year as a form of compensation for the disappointment brought upon the country.
