As a prolific Ghanaian producer and Director, the CEO of Sparrows Pictures has consistently delivered exceptional storytelling that captivates audiences and movie lovers, yet she remains relatively uncelebrated in the broader entertainment industry.
Actress Luckie Lawson believes it’s high time for Manso’s contributions to be recognized and celebrated on a global scale.
According to Luckie, Shirley is doing so well for herself as she has earned huge accolades for being able to thrive in a male dominated space.
In a recent interview with Graphic Showbiz, Ms Lawson explained that, “Shirley needs to be celebrated for her contribution to the growth of Ghana’s movie industry. The producer/director role is mostly dominated by the men but Shirley has proven to be one of the best movie producers challenging the man and doing so well and I really admire her for that.”
Lucky adds that Shirley’s resilient spirit has earned great admiration for the latter and aspires to be like her. She further , asserted that she has always admired Shirley from afar and worth expressing how she feels about her.
According to the movie star who recently worked with Shirley on her new series “Madam,” she is happy to have gained more experience.
