Lizzo Is Making a Case for Yitty Leggings With Butt Cut-Outs

We have seen assless chaps before, but have we seen assless leggings? The time has come, and Lizzo is making a case for leggings with butt cut-outs. It is also not the first time we have seen body-positive queen Lizzo rocking some NSFW 'fits — teeny weeny bikini, Barbiecore bikini, and see-through bedazzled dress. 

Dancing to Beyonce’s PURE/HONEY audio, a recent Lizzo Insta post features her dancing in a matching burnt orange colored Yitty shapewear set. Specifically, she is rocking burnt orange leggings with butt cut-outs. The caption reads “THE SPOTLIGHT LEGGINGS YALL BEEN WAITING FOR DROPS IN 4...3…2 FREAKING DAYS! A PERFECT FIT FOR A STAR…ALL I NEED IS A CRYSTAL FLUTE.”  

Lizzo is not just having a body-positive moment; she is known as the queen of celebrating what is unique and beautiful. In fact, if you are a little behind, Lizzo is continuously living her best life. She launched her shapewear line, YITTY in April, she and her boyfriend made their red carpet debut this summer, and she just played a dead President’s 200-Year-Old crystal flute at her D.C. concert. 

But back to back, the leggings with butt cut-outs are the latest release in the Yitty line. And while they are half-ass, they are not half-assed. The line has sizes from XS to 6X and includes over 100 shapewear pieces with a price range of $14.95–$69.95. Earlier this year when talking about the purpose behind Yitty, Lizzo told The New York Times, “I’m selling a mentality that ‘I can do what I want with my body, wear what I want, and feel good while doing it.’” We can’t fault a celebration of body positivity, even if it means it is a little on the cheeky side.
